LOS ANGELES - Today, Jeffrey Corless, California Republican Party (CRP) Associate Representative, announced Part 2 of the "Associates Take Action" activist training for CRP Associate Members. California Black Republican Council Chairman Craig DeLuz will speak to the Associate Membership of the California Republican Party at the Fall convention to be held in Los Angeles this weekend.
"Craig DeLuz is a longtime Republican activist from the Sacramento area and will offer extensive knowledge to our volunteers on how to best communicate the great Republican message while reaching out to minorities in our metropolitan and inner-city regions," said Corless, "and I am proud that Craig will be our keynote speaker." Craig DeLuz is also a candidate for city council in Sacramento in the up and coming election cycle.
"We anticipate a successful program for our Associate Members this weekend," said Erik Caldwell, adviser to Corless, going on to say, "As promised, Jeff has masterminded an innovative networking and educational series uncharted by any other Associate Representative in the past."
Just this past February at the spring convention, Corless hosted the kick-off program for "Associates Take Action" called "Educating California". The workshop recognized and addressed the important role of Republican women activism and leadership involvement in our children's school districts. Perspectives were given by keynote speakers Cindy Simon, Assemblywoman Lynn Daucher and Principal Consultant to the GOP Women's Caucus Michelle St. Martin.
